Abigail,
I'm working with some of my graduate students--all are former English teachers--to offer a group of quick, introductory "workshops" at FCTE. We are requesting the tables in the ballroom and each person will be set up at one table to talk with a small group about what they are doing with media/technology in their English classes. So far we have one mini-session on VoiceThread in ELA, one on making movies with Web 2.0 resources, one on pedagogy of multiliteracies, one on Media as culturally relevant pedagogy, one on the shifting nature of Bloom's Taxonomy. I would love for you to host a mini presentation where you might share some of the great things you are doing in your class with other members of the Commission and with FCTE teachers. If you would like to participate, please let me know the gist of what you might do so that I can include you in the session. I"m looking forward to working with you on the NCTE Commission, too.
